Watercolor is a magical medium. There's something about how it dries gradiently on paper; how water has a mind of its own and beautifully flows no matter what...
So even if your downstrokes aren't as thick as you want them to be, your upstrokes aren't as delicate as you hope, or your letter transitions are seemingly botched... you're still left with watercolor's gorgeous effects-- a little piece of art!
In this workshop designed for total beginners, you can expect the following outcomes by the end of our time together:
- to understand the foundations of calligraphy, including the basic strokes that build an alphabet
- to be able to paint a lowercase alphabet with a brush and watercolors
- to gain the confidence and new skills to continue practicing on your own
