Description

One of the great pleasures of learning Gothicized Italic is discovering the wide range of minuscule letter variations.  The alphabet lends itself to simpler as well as more ornate forms, which can give the calligrapher the opportunity to develop a personal approach to this fascinating contemporary Black Letter hand. In addition, we will explore some of the many possibilities of capital letters that are appropriate for use with Gothicized Italic. Workshop participants should have some experience with the basics of this script.
