Explore the expressive power of the broad edge pen in this intensive one-day workshop. From Gothic and Italic foundations to contemporary calligraphy and graffiti tagging, we’ll move through a wide range of styles while focusing on rhythm, movement, and creative exploration. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and discussions, participants will build confidence with the broad edge tool, develop muscle memory, experiment with flourishing and compositions, and learn how calligraphy can translate into logotypes, tattoo lettering, and editorial titles. We’ll also look at case studies and commercial applications, sharing insights into how calligraphy can be used professionally in branding, art, and design.
