Join Maxie Peña this September for a focused, detail-rich exploration of one of the most elegant and structured calligraphic hands—Engrosser's Script. This workshop is designed for students who want to sharpen their eye and hand through a deeper understanding of form and stroke construction.
We will cover:
-Tine movement exercises to improve control
- Foundational drills to build consistency and rhythm
- Minuscule and majuscule forms
- Connections and spacing
- Numerals and punctuation Practice worksheets and historical exemplars will be provided to support your study.
Classes are live on Zoom and recorded so you can re-watch anytime until November 20, 2025. You’ll also get ongoing feedback through Padlet—from the first session all the way to two months after the class ends.
