A unique opportunity to study with a Master Penman and former Chief Calligrapher at the White House in Washington, DC. This course will be held over several months, with personalized instruction, including projects and in depth review. A complete study of the copperplate hand, with focus on the detail that makes this hand truly elegant. Every nuance of the hand will be explored, from spacing, slant, letter forms, pressure control, each taken individually to ensure complete understanding. The class will be limited in size to be able to offer students detailed reviews and feedback, and extended over several months to provide ample opportunity to really explore and dive into this hand.
