Description

Focus on the Sacred is an annual, 5 day, immersive retreat that combines lettering, artwork and interaction with fellow students, centered around faith-based themes. We'll explore Illumination as not just limited to the practice of applying specific materials, such as gold or silver on a formal manuscript page, but rather as a form of emphasis in art, an honoring of the subject or text, and a communication in both our formal and informal artworks. Lettering Focus: Versals Artwork Focus: Drawing or painting an Illuminated Letter
