Travel back several decades with me as we enjoy these unique and whimsical alphabets. These letter shapes greatly influenced me at an impressionable time in my calligraphic career, and I still enjoy finding opportunities to use them.
In this workshop, we will practice steeply turning the pen to create interesting letter strokes, and we’ll explore variations in two alphabets. We will discuss practical applications for their use, at both large and small sizes.
Through study and practice of these unique shapes, you may be inspired to take your own lettering to a new level.
