This workshop is your introduction to calligraphy flourishing for both lowercase and uppercase letters. We will start from the very basics, making the process simple and clear. You'll learn how to execute graceful flourishes that complement your writing. The focus is on building a strong foundation, developing a lighter hand, and fixing common mistakes from the start.

Part 1: Foundations & First Strokes

• Welcome and introduction to the tools
• Core Technique: The basic oval as the main building block
• Practicing pressure control for thin lines
• Drills for a lighter hand and smooth movement

Part 2: Building Basic Flourishes

• Turning ovals into simple shapes: loops and figure-eights
• Key Principle: How to add flourishes for balance and harmony
• Hands-on practice for lowercase letters (like on ascenders and descenders)
• Hands-on practice for simple uppercase letters (starting with basic capitals)
• Troubleshooting: Fixing shaky lines, ink blobs, and unbalanced shapes

Part 3: Putting It All Together

• Applying your flourishes to simple words
• How to look at your own work and improve it
• Tips for effective practice
• Q&A and next steps
