Supply List:
- Your favorite nibs (excluded Nikko G or Zebra G), preferably a medium flex nib, such as the crown nibs. Gillott, Hunt, Esterbrook, Leonardt EF Principal, Brause, etc. maybe good to test.
-Both straight and oblique holder, test both and see which gives you the best strokes.
-Higgins Eternal, ink stick, walnut ink, fountain pen ink with a few drops of gum Arabic, or calligraphy gouache (color of your choice.)
-Layout paper (your favorite) is essential, what follows is a list of materials that you may want to have available to test: grid paper (as an alternative for practice), textured paper (like 300g watercolor paper), handmade paper (cotton paper), black paper like Ingres or Canson Mi-Teintes.
-Pencil 0.3 or 0.5 mechanical – to rule your guidelines
-Eraser
-HB-2B (for writing)
-Mixing brush for loading pen
-Water container & paper towels
-Writing board (optional)
-Paper for hand-guard
