Like embroidery, calligraphy unfolds in its own rhythm — both arts share a patience that soothes, calms, and becomes a form of meditation. They offer a return to ourselves: a journey inward, toward memory and essence.
This workshop begins with an introduction to calligraphy. Participants will experiment with broad-edged and pointed nibs, as well as unconventional tools. Through playful exercises, we’ll use these instruments to create letterforms, borders, and decorative frames. As a final step, each participant will design a sketch and transfer it onto fabric, where it will come to life through embroidery.
